There are a range of options for people wanting to learn how to kiteboard or improve their skills including group lessons and 1-on-1 instruction. You may already be a competent kiter, and would perhaps like to improve the landing on that front roll kite loop?
If you are a beginner, if you are not sure that you want to commit to a whole course, why not take a 'Discovery' course which is a 1 day introduction and see if you like it? If you do, then carry on learning until you're ready to go off on your own!
IKO instructor courses are also operated here throughout the winter months. Yoda has been the Thai kiteboarding champion for several years. He has also won the Asian Kiteboarding Championships several times. Who better to learn from?

During the thermal season, Yoda often organises downwinders from Pak Nam Pran to Hua Hin or from Dolphin Bay to Pak Nam Pran - distances of 20-25 kilometres. Both of these trips are great fun, and are suitable for kiters that are at least IKO level 3 and confident enough to do a self-rescue, should the need arise!
The routes take you past temples, around islands and into some beautiful flatwater lagoons - areas that are rarely visited by anyone!
At the end of the day, our retrieve vehicle brings us back to where we started. Speak to Yoda at the if you're interested.
Kiteboarding kit is available for hire through Yoda. Check out Yida's website for more about rates and options.
It is also possible to rent SUPs for the days when the wind switches off.
